Astrid Mejia is an Experience Shaper with a passion for helping people discover new things about themselves. A recent graduate of MetWest High School she is planning to attend college in the fall of 2014. Currently, she is completing a six-week bootcamp with Hack the Hood as a web designer. Some of her recent accomplishments include securing over 30 NetBooks for her high school from SafeWay. Other interests include working with children and writing. In her spare time she likes examining song lyrics. An aspiration of hers is to one day be a psychologist or work as a publicist for a celebrity.
Skills include public speaking, writing and communication skills, fundraising/grant-writing, fluency in Spanish. Also knowledgeable in programs like Weebly, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive. |
