Biography:
As you may already know, my name is Astrid but my full name is Astrid Carolina Mejia-Rodriguez. I was named after a pageant queen but I'm not as glamorous as one. I think of myself as very simple. I do not like being extravagant and fanciness intimidates me. Ironically, celebrity culture is very interesting to me. I love the whole "rags to riches" stories.
Born two months early on March 23rd, 1995 in Oakland, California. I've been raised in Oakland all of my life, my parents emigrated to the U.S in the early '90s from Honduras. My parents' determination and work ethic constantly inspires me to do better. Their characteristics have definitely been passed down to me.
Since astrology is an interesting way of helping you find out some characteristics that you might contain due to your birth, it's funny that I fall under an Aries since I was born earlier than I should've been. If I had been born on time I would've fallen under a Taurus and I feel that describes me a bit more than Aries would. Like a Taurus I am very loyal yet stubborn and indecisive. Aries people are very extroverted, courageous and spontaneous. I am none of that. But I believe that zodiac signs don't define you and they definitely do not have to. At the end of the day, you define yourself, from your mannerisms and your behavior. And all of that is determined by how you are already and how you're willing to grow even more as a person. What makes me essentially me is my kindness and ability to adapt.
